Doug will be on staff as our Community Life Minister

 

 

 

 

Doug is a 1989 graduate of Kentucky Christian University, where he met his wife, Jane. Jane is a 5th grade school teacher in Jessamine County. Married for 22 yrs., they have two sons, Sean & Brandon. The Piatts have a full-time security guard in their home named Maxx, their pet Bichon dog, who will likely lick any intruders to death rather than harming them.

As Community Life Minister, Doug’s part-time primary tasks will include oversight of Life Groups/Sunday School, Outreach/Follow-up, and Pastoral Care.

Doug enjoys working out, playing basketball, yard work, playing corn hole, and attending his sons’ sport events and band competitions. Doug is an avid Ohio State Buckeye football fan & a UK basketball fan – figuring he has the best of both worlds in each sport. The Piatt’s two favorite things to do as a family is to vacation every summer in Myrtle Beach and playing Monopoly on Wii.
