Come this weekend as we begin a new series entitled Lost.
This Sunday we will begin looking at the reality of those of us that get Lost in yourself… We will look specifically at the life of Solomon from and his struggle to find himself as documented from Ecclesiastes.
Hey Everyone…
Remember, this Saturday, we are going to take just a short time in the morning to clean up our property.
It will be from 9am and will go to, at the latest, around lunchtime.
We have some needs if you would be willing to bring them along.
1) Shovels (for spreading gravel and dirt)
2) Rakes
3) Garden gloves for pulling weeds and handling brush
4) Fruit Trees – We would like to put some basic fruit trees up back by our garden. These are usually inexpensive and can be gotten anywhere.
5) Evergreen Trees – We would like to use these as a wind-block around our property.
If you have anything else that you think we may need, such as bushes or flowers etc, or would like to bring some of the trees mentioned above, just leave a comment on this post.
If you have any questions, just shoot me an email, or comment on here.
As you may or may not know, Thursday, May 6th, is the National Day of Prayer…
As a Nation, we have set aside this day as a day of remembering that we are a country founded on a belief that there is but one God and salvation is found in no one else but His son, Jesus Christ. This is a day for us to collectively cry out to God through the blood of Christ and ask him to forgive our sin and heal our land.
I hope you’ll join us in this effort. Our worship center will be open from 7am – 6pm with a time of directed prayer from 12:15pm-12:45pm. There will be prayer guides available. I might also ask you to consider tomorrow an opportunity to fast, even if it’s just one meal. Maybe you decide to skip lunch and come out here to pray with us and with every hunger pain, you will be reminded that He is our bread of life.
