Coming home…
For anyone that knows me, knows that I love to travel. I love to see new places and try new things.
This trip has been no different. I’ve seen things in New Zealand that I couldn’t even begin to describe to you. I’ve done things that I never thought I would be able to do and had an amazing time with Nate, Whit and Lane.
No matter where I go or what I do, there is nothing that compares to when its time to come home. I love the feeling of going back to where I belong.
I’m reminded of what the Bible says in I Peter. It says that we are aliens in this strange world. That’s so difficult for me to grasp because home feels like home but it’s not, ultimately, where I belong. I am an alien in this world.
Can you imagine what our eternal home will be like? Can you imagine what it will feel like when we are finally in the place where we were designed to be.
I can’t wait to go home…
