Apron

By David Casey

ApronYou know, often times when you endeavor to do something that you’ve never done before, you really have no idea of what to expect and last night was no exception.

Even though I didn’t really know how things would go at our Apron meal last night, I still had high expectations because we knew that God had led us to this place and this was what He wanted us to do. So as the evening went on, sure enough, things didn’t go like I thought they were going to go, in fact, they went better. As I sat down at the end of the day and looked at what had gone on, God’s fingerprints were everywhere. He had been there…

I also have to say that I have never been more proud to be apart of this church as I was last night. All those who served were such a positive example of what it means to be follower of Christ. Thanks for doing what you did. Thanks for being part of such an amazing church family!  –  Psalms 115 1:1

I hope lotsa pictures were taken. We didn’t go because by the time we were done counting money that Sunday you had the meeting, only thing left was food and we heard there was more help than people. (-:

This was a very rewarding experience for me last night. Had a wonderful time serving others!

I do believe we saw this season of thanksgiving turn into “thanksliving” at our first Apron event last night…it was as though everyone present knew they had been led there for a reason. (Even as we scraped and washed dishes, we did it as BACC family for Him.) Thank you, David, for sharing your vision…
