The Apron

By DC

For those of you who haven’t heard, we are planning a new event this Thanksgiving and we have dubbed it the “Apron”.   The premise is simple, for the 10 Thanksgiving seasons that I have been involved in this church, we have always had a spectacular meal together on the Sunday prior to the Holiday.  There is always an amazing amount of food and fellowship.  This year, however, our focus is changing from inward to outward.  This year, we are going to take off our “bib” and put on our “apron”, it’s going to be about serving others instead of serving ourselves.

Mark it down now…  Sunday evening, November 22nd, 6pm.

This is an opportunity to show others how much value is on their life.  This is an opportunity to model Christ…

Who will put on their apron?  (John 13)

Count Randy, me, and the boys in to help. I think this is a wonderful ideal…

Count the Dailey family in. We’re excited!!!!!!

Nothing beats looking outward — in the same direction — together!! Lord willing, we’ll see you then!

if the Lord sees fit to give me breath ben, sarah and myself will be there

Count the Tillery’s in too! Sara has always missed the meal as she was in Frankfort with KYA. She’s excited to be serving instead of eating! So are Lee and I! (-:

Count Lisa, Savannah Whetstine, and myself in.
