30 days to live…

When I began to think and chew on this series 30 days to live, I had no idea how real it would become.   It seems that the reality that life is but a vapor and never has it been more illustrated and raw to me than in the last 2 weeks.

I have had different encounters with people who are fighting a terminal diagnosis and I can’t tell you how much life I see in them.  Not the kind of life that means your heart is still beating, but life that is produced by our God.   A life that is measured, not in years or accomplishments, but rather in lives touched and impacted.   I see in them the epitome of strength through the storm.  I see in them a peace that can only come from knowing the God of gods and it completely challenges me to have that kind of total trust in my own life.    Thanks for sharing your lives with us…  Thanks for sharpening me…
